Welcome to part three of our insanely informative SEO on a budget blog. Now that you have written some blogs and exhibited your expertise of your industry, it's time to push up your sleeves and do a little bit of dirty work.

Directory listing sites are like the Yellow Pages of the Internet. Well, maybe yellowpages.com is the Yellow Pages of the Internet, but you get my point. Directory listing sites are an excellent way to draw targeted traffic to your site. What is so great is the fact that these sites are usually market-specific, and they are usually in good shape, SEO-wise. You need simply latch on to one of these sites to help your site get the views you deserve.

Continuing with the example of roofers, I typed "tampa roofer" into a Google search box. Let's see what comes up:

Notice that, immediately, there are no less than FIVE directory listing sites for roofers in the sponsored area, and a plethora of roofers in Google's own built-in directory listing service. Most of the first page of Google is covered in listing sites!

You job is easy from here. Most directory listing sites may already have your business in their database. So go through them and make sure you're there. If not, simply submit your information to their contact page, and they will put you up as soon as they can. Directory listing sites make their money by charging for premium listing placement, so that's up to you. But they are usually free for vanilla placement.

A task like this can easily be divvied up among a small group of employees, too, making your work quick and efficient.
