Michigan MA is an Insurance quoting web application designed for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. The app was completely custom built to ease the process of quoting and registering clients for independent insurance agents. Users can enter details such as their gender, age, marital status, as well as the details of their dependents. From there the app will calculate each member of the family's rates, provide comparisons of plans and group discounts. The process completes with securely pre-filling Blue Cross' application forms, drastically simplifying the sign up process for agents and customers.

Built for a government contracting firm, the email repository was created to index and store emails sent and received throughout the bidding process of a contract. Our client was finding that, since all their dealings with vendors was through email, when a representative left the firm, the contract details, manuals, warrantees, and everything else soon disappeared. SourceTOAD's solution was an email plugin that allowed contracting reps to pick what type of email they had just sent or received (as well as a full tagging and note taking system). The plugin would then store a copy of the email in an indexed database on a server. On the server side, an admin could view all the messages and attachments associated with each client and the type of document, and nothing was ever lost again!

Our client, an investment bank, had a massive Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) database of over 8,000 contacts and accounts. In order to improve their sales calls, SourceTOAD built them their own personal search engine. Their new tool would go out on the web every day and search for any information about each of their 8,000 contacts. It would then aggregate the news, organize it intelligently by the firms internal categorization method, and then dynamically supply intelligence to the sales reps inside their CRM screens. Effectively, this allowed any sales rep to become an expert on the company they were calling within minutes of clicking on their phone number. The database also analyzed the companies competitive environment as well as their general industry trends.

A Bio-Tech Investment bank was tired of market analysis from third-party sources who often ignored some of the smaller deals that can be so important in the Bio-Tech field. SourceTOAD built them a full Deal Tracking database system that allowed their analysts (who track these deals for a living) to store all the information on these deals (everything from who the investors were to what the estimated value of the firm is). The database from there dynamically generates reports for their quarterly newsletters and weekly emails to the clients, including home-grown financial indexes which track certain sectors in the bio and pharma-tech industries, complete with interactive graphs and full financial statistics.

Aruba creates some of the best commercial wireless access points in the business, allowing up to 8,000 connections on some of their controllers. However, our client, a wireless managed services firm, needed a user portal and payment gateway attached to the controller. Designed for a large community center, SourceTOAD built a system which captured users before they were allowed access to the internet and asked them to create an account. From there, they could buy blocks of air time on the controller using either PayPal or their credit cards. Once the system had received payment, it would tell the Aruba to turn on access for that user. The system also handled the accounting, reminders, and a newsletter system for the community center.
