Our client, an investment bank, had a massive Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) database of over 8,000 contacts and accounts. In order to improve their sales calls, SourceTOAD built them their own personal search engine. Their new tool would go out on the web every day and search for any information about each of their 8,000 contacts. It would then aggregate the news, organize it intelligently by the firms internal categorization method, and then dynamically supply intelligence to the sales reps inside their CRM screens. Effectively, this allowed any sales rep to become an expert on the company they were calling within minutes of clicking on their phone number. The database also analyzed the companies competitive environment as well as their general industry trends.
